Having typed up a heartfelt and sentimental last blog post of the year it looks like it’s somehow been deleted. Such is the year we’ve had.
I’ve recapped the main jist below -
Firstly, apologies for the lack of post over the past few months. We’ve been super busy with some amazing projects and haven’t had the chance to stay on top of our chores. We’re particuarly proud of our work for the ENB’s digital season where we worked on four of the five films. You can see the trailer below.
A BIG THANK YOU to all our new and existing clients for all your support this year and to all the friends of the company who continue to support us and recommend us to their wider network. This year has been a struggle for everyone but we’ve come out the other side with an amazing body of work and some great achievements along the way. These include our first TVC with Walker’s Crisp’s Giant Wotsits Campaign, a shout out from Ricardo Tisci for our work on The Face x Burberry project and being asked to contribute to an article in Campaign Magazine critiquing this year’s Christmas TV adverts. You can check out my thoughts here.
We’ve really enjoyed moving into different areas of sound including focusing more on sound design and starting to score short + long form content. It is these new challenges which make the job worth while and we’re keen to pursue more of these projects next year and expand our services. You can check out our work for Virgil Abloh’s Shanghai extravaganza below directed by Roni Shao. Also check out ‘Off Peak’ one of our favourite jobs of the year which involved licensing, supervision and some bespoke soundscapes from composer Louis Souyave.
On the licensing side, a big shout out to all the publishers, labels and production music libraries who we continue to work with. These relationships are key to the service that we provide and we’re super thankful for all the recommendations that come our way. Hopefully we’ll get to spend more time together in person next year. We’ve certainly missed the live music scene and the excitement of seeing a new artist on stage. The below track was recommended by Bucks Music Production Music library and is typical of the type of content that we have sourced music for this year.
See you all in 2021.
